The devil and the preacher
Were walking side by side
The devil saw a wagon
He said "Lets get on and ride"

The devil told the preacher
"I'm carryin' a heavy load
Take my words in your mouth
And go on down the road

The devil told the preacher
Tell people they'll go to hell
If they don't put money in the plate
Don't forget to ring the bell

Along came Jehovah's Witnesses
And exposed the scheme so well
We never worry about the preacher
"Cause there ain't no burnin' hell

Now everything looks peaceful
Ain't it all so very nice?
I think we must be headed
For an earthly paradise
